On Pictures…
Spring is teasing its way over to us, and with that comes much better light for making Polaroids. I’ve been really pleased with the instant pictures I’ve made over the last two weeks. A lot of playing with light and flower photography, which feels like cheating, but alas… All the pictures below were first made with an SLR680, and then an SX-70—my two favorite instant cameras. Enjoy.
C brought me these flowers after she picked out her wedding dress.
This was not easy to achieve, but I’m really happy with the result.
Probably the best photo of the flowers from a color perspective, and the opacification failure (the blue flames on the bottom) is a nice touch.
Something about clutter really draws my eye.
More shadows, more shadows, more shadows. This one was taken on the SX-70, where I had to manually focus it, then shoot. Very happy with this.
Hey, it’s me, in my Lil Peep hoodie.
My first-ever quality bookshelf photo. Thank you, morning light.
